Here is a quick bio of myself.
I was born in Tarzana, CA When I was one and a half, my family moved to Fremont,
CA. I lived in Fremont for 16 years
going to public school for elementary school, junior
high,
and high
school.
I
then went to college at University
of California Santa Barbara for 4 years where I received my
B.A. in
Computer Science with a minor in Astronomy and Planetary
Science.
While
in UCSB, I took a trip to Israel one summer with a group called JAM,
which got
me
thinking about my religion. Gradually over two years, I made
a
calculated
decision to become more religious.
Realizing
that I needed a proper religious education, after graduation, I went to
Monsey, NY to attend a yeshiva (seminary) called Ohr Somayach.
There, after learning more than I ever had about Judaism, I resolved to
lead an
“Orthodox” Jewish lifestyle.
Almost
two years later, I left NY to go to graduate school at San Diego
State University
in
the field of Computational
Science. After my first semester at SDSU, I married
my wonderful wife
Molly whom I had been engaged to
for 4 months. After
recieving my Masters in Computational Science, I was admitted to the
joint Ph.D. program in Computational Science at SDSU and Claremont Graduate University.
I
currently live in San
Diego.
